Absolutely STUNNING lunch here, huge portions and so, so tasty. Well worth the money. Staff are lovely and welcoming and even though its Christmas Eve and they wre super busy they still made time to ensure every customer was treated individually and with care. Thank you
Nice family business. Expect the best taste. All homemade!! A place that you don’t wanna miss.
Had a delicious lunch here. The beer, bacon and cheese soup was great! And the cheese scones fantastic! Staff were super friendly, really accommodating ensuring our group and dogs got a table inside when it started raining outside. We’d highly recommend.
We very frequently visit this cafe and always leave satisfied. The portions are plentiful often leaving new visitors to gasp at the quantity, but it doesn't disappoint in quality. We always stop when on our dog walk and I always have to make the hard decisions between a bacon bap, stuffed croissant or a hot baguette. Christmas time is the best, as it is just round the corner you will likely find me there digging into some of the Christmas menu items. Did I mention its a family run business who also sell a wide variety of cheese Do yourself a favour, when you next visit Abergavenny go for a walk around castle meadows and stop for lunch at Madam Fromage. Be warned the cake portions are not small
A stunning takeaway ploughman's for two. Everything was so delicious, particularly the sausage roll. The service when ordering and collecting was also superb. Definitely want to revisit to sit in their lovely cafe next time!
This is a great little venue just off the main high street. Service was impeccable and the food was super fresh and tasty. I ordered the mozzarella, pesto and tomato baguette and my partner ordered the goats cheese, bacon and onion baguette. Coffee was excellent quality too. Staff super friendly. Will be back. Accepts card and cash, unlike other tax dodging cafe venues in Abergavenny.
My wife and I ate here on Saturday lunchtime. Although busy, the food arrived in a timely fashion and was good value and excellent quality. The waiting staff were friendly and attentive. The dish pictured here is their Croque Monsieur with additional Egg on top, it was £14.95 (April 2025). The included fresh salad added a great balance to the dish. Recommended.
Highly recommend! Probably one of my favourite hot chocolates. Food was great, big portion. Would 100% come again. Staff were very friendly and great atmosphere. Only thing is that there is no toilet - but there is a public one at the market.
